    Sad news

    Post by shaz1 on Wed 25 Jan 2012 - 11:46

    Hi all,

I appear to have posted this in the wrong place last night so i have re posted it.

I am sad to say that on Friday at 5 oclock after a long hard battle with Alzheimers and cancer my mother passed away in the care home.

My sister and I never left her side day and night (the home were fantastic) and she finally gave up her fight.

At the moment i am battle worn and weary and VERY bitter that I have had to watch my mother suffer and be in pain whilst the b******s at the PCT had the audacity and coldheartedness to continue to tell me she only had `social` needs.

I have won the first round with them but do not have the strength to go back in to battle and face them at the moment (even though they are pressing for availability dates for the LRP) I will get through the funeral and the next few weeks and then i will think about regrouping.

The night my mother passed away there was a message on my answer phone from the LA debt management dept asking me to settle my mothers outstanding invoices for the period in dispute. Impeccable timing as always!

Shaz, don't worry about it not being in the right place, it doesn't matter as this sort of sad news never has a right or wrong place. VM pig has asked me to convey her condolences to you and your sister in her absence. Best wishes cat
