sad news

Post by shaz1 on Tue 24 Jan 2012 - 23:53

Hi everyone,

I am so sad to report that after a long hard battle with alzheimers and cancer my mother passed away in the care home on Friday evening.

My sister and I never left her side day and night (the home were fantastic) and she finally gave up her fight,

At the moment I am battle worn and weary and VERY bitter at having to watch my mother in pain and knowing that the b******s at the PCT had the Audacity and cold heartedness to say her needs were `social`

I have won the first round with them but I do not have the strength at the moment to go back in to battle. I will get through this week and the funeral next week and regroup in time.

The night my mother passed away I got home to find a message on the answer phone from the LA debt management department `asking` that i pay my mothers outstanding invoices for the period still in dispute... impecable timing as always.

Shaz, How very very sad. Take comfort you and your sister were with your mother when she passed, and I am sure she knew you were both there. Take time to grieve and put the 'battle' on the back burner for a while. These people are heartless robots who should be ashamed of themselves. When you feel the time is right, let them have it with both barrels! My thoughts are with you and your sister. God bless and best wishes cat

Having gone through the same recently Shaz my condolences to you and your sister. Little sis and me didn't get the chance to be there at the end but we managed to spend a few hours with Mum and she looked so peaceful. God Bless xx
